What is a capacitor?
A capacitor is used to store a large amount of electric current in a small space. A cylindrical capacitor consists of a hollow or solid cylindrical conductor surrounded by a concentric hollow spherical cylinder. Capacitors are widely used in electric motors, flour mills, electric juicers and other electrical tools. The potential difference between each capacitor is different. There are many electrical circuits in which capacitors must be grouped to achieve the desired capacitance. There are two common modes, including series capacitors and parallel capacitors. The unit of capacitance is Farad (F).
